How can I determine the right facial treatment for me?We use an advanced skin analysis machine in-store to assess both the outer and inner layers of your skin. This machine measures hydration levels, UV exposure, sebum production, pigmentation, and wrinkles, helping us identify your skin type and problem areas to recommend the perfect facial treatment for you.

What are dermal fillers?Dermal fillers is a hyaluronic acid substance used for the purpose of cosmetic improvement. The substance is made of compounds that mimic the same compound in our body. Dermal fillers are used to enhance and augment the lips, improve the shape of the nose, augment the chin or cheeks, etc.

What is the duration of fillers?At our clinic, we offer two filler options: EPTQ, which lasts between 4 to 6 months, and Belatero, which lasts between 6 to 9 months.

What is anti-wrinkle treatment?Anti-wrinkle is another name used for Botox. It is a toxin used to relax the muscle in your face so those muscles are unable to flex and create wrinkles in those areas. The dose used in cosmetic procedures is minute and has no effect on the rest of the body.

How long does it last?It lasts between 4 to 6 months for the muscles to return their strength.

What happens when my anti-wrinkle treatment wears off?Your expression lines gradually return. To maintain the look you will need to repeat the procedure 2 to 3 times a year.

What are skin boosters?A skin booster is an injectable treatment that restores the hydro-balance in the skin by evenly distributing the injected hyaluronic acid to the face giving your face an airbrushed look.

What are the benefits of skin booster?Skin boosters are used to deeply hydrate and moisturise your skin. They promote skin cell renewal, minimising pores and reduce skin imperfections such as acne and blemishes. Additionally, skin boosters increase collagen production and improve elasticity and firmness of the skin, reducing lines and dark eye circles. They plumpen your skin's appearance and give you a more youthful glow.

How many skin booster sessions are needed and what is their duration?You will need 2 initial sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. After that, a maintenance session every 6 months is recommended.

How old do I have to be to enrol onto a beauty therapy course?For our level 2 courses you can enrol at the age of 14+. For our Level 3 courses you have to be the age of 16+.

Do you have an aesthetics pathway option?No, but you can enrol onto the Level 4 A&P course as a prerequisite. Following that, you can take the Level 5 & 7 Aesthetics Practice courses which include basic and advanced Dermal Fillers & Anti-wrinkle.

Are your courses regulated?Yes, all of our courses from level 2 to 7 are all Ofqual regulated by City & Guilds and Qualifi. We also provide CPD training which is accredited by The CPD.

Do you offer instalment plans?Yes, we offer instalment plans for all courses with a duration of 16 weeks or more.

Can I become self-employed after completing CPD training?Yes, if you hold a Level 3 Certificate in Beauty Therapy or higher, you can use your CPD certificate to work in a salon or start your own business.

Do I have to complete a Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice if I want to deliver injectables?To date there have been no law changes stating that you have to complete the Level 7 in Aesthetic Practice. Since June 2021 recommendations have been made for current practitioners to upskill by completing Ofqual regulated training. Additionally if you are a current practitioner it is recommended that you have a skill assessment carried out.

What does the booking fee cover?The booking fee is a non-refundable amount paid to secure your appointment. This fee is deducted from the total treatment cost.

What is the cancellation policy for treatments at The Vale Aesthetics?You have 48 hours before your appointment to change or update your appointment. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment after the notice period you will be subject to the cancellation policy.

What is the cancellation policy for courses at The Vale Aesthetics?If a student needs to cancel or reschedule a course at The Vale Aesthetics, they must do so at least 30 days before the start of the course. Any cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 30 days of the start of the course will not be eligible for a refund of the registration fee.

What if I do not want to start the course I paid for?Should you wish to change your course or cancel your registration and you do not wish to carry on with the course or any other course you must share this in writing at least 14 days before the start of the course. The registration fee is non-refundable and the amount refunded is subject to out enrolment terms and conditions.
