LEVEL 4 ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY FOR AESTHETIC PRACTICE
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Certificate provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of Anatomy and Physiology, focusing on the science to support the judgments and choices made routinely by practising aestheticians. The Certificate will enable learners to work independently and intuitively, with science at the core of the decision- making process. The Certificate will also provide opportunities for learners to develop the necessary competencies to move on to further study or employment.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This qualification is designed for learners aged 18 and above. Entry is through previous achievement of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline.
The qualification has been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression. Entry to the qualification will be through centre interview and learners will be assessed on an individual basis.

LEVEL 4 CERTIFICATE IN MICROBLADING TO ENHANCE EYEBROWS
COURSE OVERVIEW
This practical and knowledge-based qualification has been created to further develop and equip practitioners with skills competencies and expertise in using a hand-held microblade to enhance the eyebrows. This qualification will also enable practitioners to gain confidence and practice while gathering evidence in a realistic working environment or real working environment.

COURSE OVERVIEW
This practical and knowledge-based qualification has been created to further develop and equip practitioners with skills competencies and expertise in using Laser, light and energy-based devices to rejuvenate the skin and reduce or remove skin imperfections and mild pigmentary conditions. Students will gain knowledge on Hair reduction using laser, light and energy-based devices and will be able to use a laser, intense light sources and aesthetic energy-based devices for hair growth reduction.

LEVEL 4 CERTIFICATE IN DERMAPLANING TREATMENTS
COURSE OVERVIEW
This practical and knowledge-based qualification has been created to further develop and equip practitioners with skills competencies and expertise in using a surgical scalpel to perform this facial. Dermaplaning treatments offer deep exfoliation removing dead skin cells and vellus hair (fuzz) from the upper layer of the surface of the skin using a surgical scalpel. Students will gain knowledge on using a surgical scalpel to gently ‘shaving’ of the skin surface to remove dead skin cells, and fine vellus hair (fuzz) from the face giving a renewed and glowing appearance to the skin.

COURSE OVERVIEW
This qualification will prepare learners for employment and support a range of roles in the workplace. It provides a specialist work-related programme of study that provides breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, along with practical skills required in the aesthetics sector. This qualification provides generic and core of mandatory units that apply in all aesthetics contexts. With this qualification you will gain in depth knowledge all units, as well as thorough treatment protocols on skin micro-needling up to 2.0mm needle depth and medium grade chemical peels.

• A Level 4 Certificate in Laser, Light and Energy-Based Procedures
